The Therapeutic Benefits of Journaling
This two hour workshop provides an overview of how Journaling can be utilized as a healing tool. In this workshop, examples of findings from scientific research studies will be shared. Participants will receive writing prompts that can be used for different situations in life—and we’ll have a few minutes to write together!

Journaling to Cope With Grief and Loss
Any type of loss can have a profound and traumatic impact on the way one functions and operates in life. Journaling about grief is a tool to help cope with one’s feelings after the death of loved one or significant loss. Simple journaling prompts will be provided.
Group: 1 hour/week, 6 sessions
Journal Away From Stress and to the Self
This program is based on the works of Kathleen Adams, from The Therapeutic Institute for Journaling. We will explore journaling techniques and engage in 18 different journaling prompts that can be used for personal enhancement, growth, and self-care. This program has the most impact as an 8-10 week, one-hour workshop. However, it can also be offered as an all day workshop or as a weekend retreat. Ideal for wellness training for non-profit, healthcare, government, and library professionals.

Journaling in the Workplace as a Form of Self-Care
In this 60 minute workshop, participants will be taught how to incorporate mindfulness and reflection through journaling. It is an introduction workshop to journaling on how to support wellness in the work place.

21 Days of Gratitude
Embark on an inward journey of gratitude for 21 days. Each day, you will receive a journaling prompt revolving around the theme of Thankfulness and Gratitude via email. Included is your own very personal journal.

30 Day Creativity Journaling Challenge
Interested in having more creativity in your life? Each day you will receive a journaling prompt followed by a creativity prompt that will help you uncover and unravel the energies in you that are dormant. Each one of us has the creative power in us, sometimes it gets stuck. We may need a gentle push and using a journal can help tap into those energies. Included in this will be your own special e-book that talks about my journey in creativity and journaling. A journal will also be sent to you via mail.

A workshop for women to reclaim their voices through the art of journaling. Simple Journal Prompts will be provided to tap into finding their inner voice. This workshop can be offered in an individual or group format and is a 6 part series that will have a specific theme each week around women’s issues.

About The Journal Seeker
Anjali Mani, MSW, LSW, is the founder of The Journal Seeker and a Certified Journal to Self instructor who has been offering individual and group journaling programs for the past decade. A graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Social Work, she has over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic services in interpersonal violence, trauma and holistic living in outpatient mental health centers, healthcare settings, and crisis intervention in cross-collaborative systems.
Journal writing has been a lifelong companion in Anjali’s personal and professional life. Her journal has been a compass on her life journey, through key milestones and transitions. “I Live to write and heal “is a mantra she lives by. Anjali began introducing journaling as a form of self-care for stressed out healthcare and mental health professionals in her workplace 11 years ago and since 2014 began offering workshops to individuals and organizations. She is committed to providing a space for individuals who want to break free from negative patterns, become more authentic in their day to day lives, and identify their purpose.
